What is a PINK SLIP PARTY you ask?????
A Pink Slip Party is an evening event that brings together hundreds of professionals and sympathizers to honor the passing of the many companies that have shut their doors or have downsized throughout this economic slowdown. The party is about networking and connecting the pink slipped (and those who are nervous about losing their job) with companies that are hiring. You might say that this is the casual version of a job fair, minus the tables and the lines. Simply come, enjoy some good food, buy yourself a drink and meet area HR professionals, recruiters and hiring managers in a relaxed environment.

When you register at the door, you will receive a color-coded bracelet that will identify you as a job seeker or recruiter, so that you can network with the people that matter to you.

There will be door prizes as well as raffle tickets sold at $5 a ticket, at the end of the evening one person will split the proceeds with “Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte” who will also be in attendance
